Membership

Membership of the association is open to all, and is by application or invitation.
 
There are 5 categories of membership. Each membership has its own qualification criteria. Meeting the
specified criteria is essential for the award of a membership grade.
 
The professional membership grades of the association are as follows, with their minimum requirements
outlined;

Student
Open to college Students. No professional experience is required
​
Associate
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Consultant is required
Evidence of formal training in Consulting is required
Specific competency requirements may also be required

Will consider membership grades from similar professional bodies
May use designation after name - APACA; Associate, Pan Africa Consultants Association
​
Member
Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Consultant is required
Evidence of formal training in Consulting is required
Specific competency requirements will be required

Will consider membership grades from similar professional bodies
May use designation after name - MPACA; Member, Pan Africa Consultants Association
 
Fellow
Minimum of 10 years’ Experience as a Consultant is required
Sample Consulting Projects’ documentation will be required
Specific Competency requirements will be required from all applicants

Will consider membership grades from similar professional bodies
May use designation after name - FPACA; Fellow, Pan Africa Consultants Association

Honorary
Conferment is at the discretion of the Award Committee in line with criteria such as competency,
leadership, and contribution to the practice
​
Non-Professional Membership
This is open to registered professionals from other fields who desire a non-professional membership
status of the association for reasons such as access to the community and permissible resources.
